Lu Lu's Waikiki

A restaurant with a sensational view. Their breakfasts are delicious with generous portions, so they are very filling. The menu is extensive and varied and quite reasonably priced. Great customer service from the staff, they were very welcoming. This is a comfortable relaxed eatery with a great vibe. We ate here regularly during our holiday in Hawaii

Service -5 we had Julia both times we went to LuLu’s. She’s top notch. Food -5 we had the nachos with pork and then again the next night with beef. Very good filling. We also had the coconut shrimp and magnum PI burger. The burger was a top 4 burger I’ve ever had. Shrimp was amazing too.

I liked this for people watching. Super easy to grab a quick bite and /or a drink. Food is average but there is something for everyone. It is up a flight of stairs which might deter some.

Came here a few times while waiting to pick up my cousin from school down the street and it’s a great place. Bartenders are super nice.

Stumbled into this place on my first night in Honolulu and glad I did as we ended up back a few times. First off, the views are great with the beach just across the block. Fresh air, open design, it's got that great beach vibe and far enough down the strip to be away from the crowds and madness. Food is solid for breakfast and late night. Coconut shrimp was worth a second round, drinks solid too of course. TVs for a game are good in the bar area so plan to arrive early for that. Generally nice staff and keeps well with the beach feel.5 out of 5, would go back again.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Waikiki! The atmosphere is fantastic and really has authentic Hawaiian vibes. There is sometimes live music which is great. The food served at this restaurant is always fresh, hot, and amazing. The servers are friendly. There are TV's around playing footage of favourite Hawaiian sports, like surfing which is cool to watch and definitely adds to the positive atmosphere of the restaurant! If you are staying in Waikiki, I definitely recommend going to LuLu's. There is really nothing bad I can say!

Ate here for dinner and breakfast and had a favorable experience on both occasions. If you can catch them when they have live music, it’s an even bigger plus. They bring in some local artists who are quite talented. From the actual food and drink perspective, nothing but positive remarks. Good service rounded out the whole experience.

Food is good, a little over priced. Atmosphere is good. You can see the beach from the restaurant if you get the right table. Drink prices are pretty good for Waikiki.

Thoroughally enjoyed the view of the beach at sunset. I was in the mood for a laid back and casual place to enjoy a delicious seafood salad and sip a beer after a rough day at work. I looked up while walking back from the beach and there LuLu's was, beckoning me in to relax and enjoy the live music and atmosphere. The food was excellent too. Good sized portions. Steaks, burgers, salads, soups, local dishes, local seafood, local beers on tap, etc. Something for everybody and not pretentious. You can feel comfortable in your own skin in this place. Not the case at every restaurant in Waikiki.

Loved it here. Generous portions. Got 3 meals out of the dawn patrol breakfast for example. Decent selection of beers too if you're eating lunch or dinner there. We ate breakfast and dinner there a few times because it was close to our hotel and enjoyed all the meals. There can be a line at busy times but they do seat you where there is space so you might share a table but you'll be seated quicker.

A friend recommended as a must-visit and I was not disappointed. We sat on the side facing the beach and the view was fantastic. The food and cocktails were delicious. Atmosphere was also very friendly and casual. It was lovely to see the place was clean as well. Good prices too.

Decent drink and happy hour place. Service was good at the bar. Service at a table sitting to eat, was a little slow. Still enjoy stopping in for a drink.

Great place. Steak bites are great. Bartenders and wait staff are friendly. Try to get a rail seat in order to people watch. Always have music, but try not to sit right in front as it makes it difficult to have any type of conversation.

Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. It’s open air which is nice being across the street from the beach. They had live music which would have been nicer had it not been so loud. With the music so loud other customers had to yell to have a conversation. I had the fish and chips for dinner. The fish itself was good but the breading was weird. I don’t know how to describe it other than it seemed overcooked (the breading) when it came out. The tartar sauce was good. I can’t really rate the Cole slaw since I don’t like Cole slaw. The chips were boring regular old French fries. The price was fair for the amount of food you get. I would be willing to try LuLu’s again in the future and eat something else. If I was basing it all on the one experience I would not recommend to others as a must try.

Tasty breakfast place that won't break the bank. Nice view of Waikiki Beach. I had the eggs and bacon, with home fries and toast. Having just run a 10k race I was starving and this place really hit the spot.

Had their great Portuguese sausage eggs & rice, with pineapple juice. Love the view! Good poke too. Nice friendly service. They can stow your board while your'e their!

Great view, ample portions, good comfort food. Chicken Alfredo was taisty and tender. Friendly staff. Happy hour provides a great place to R & R. Online menu out of date. Certainly worth a try

This place will forever be in my heart. The staff made this a night I'll never forget. The music by The Artist Fia was unforgettable. The whole experience was surreal.

One of the best burgers I've ever tried! Staff were also super friendly which was a bonus. Great place!

Great second-floor location at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki, with pleasant beach views. Breakfast only is served until 11:30am. You've gotta get the house-made corned beef hash, which has big chunks of corned beef with grilled onions and little (if any) potatoes. It is truly worth the price of admission!
